SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE:
More than 25 years’ experience in the field of Construction & Engineering industry, having worked in the Construction Project under EPC contracts. Experiences includes Project Planning/Scheduling for Construction, Feed Engineering, Project Management & Reporting System, Overall co-ordination, monitoring and control of developed and integrated project schedules, and Sub-contractor Co-ordination.
Industrial experience includes Oil Refinery, Oil & Gas Development Project, Petrochemical Plants & Power Generation, Pipelines, Water Transmission and Pumping Station and Onshore/Offshore Pipeline Construction Planning.
Software & Planning tools used: Primavera P6v8.3; MS Excel, Word, Access, Power Point Presentation & In-control system for project control & management.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Directly responsible to Project Manager and Project Controls Manager in preparation of FEED & Detailed Design Engineering Planning Packages and provide a key responsibility for delivering status, resource forecasting data, progress updates by discipline and trending information to the project team with Primavera P6 as the tool for all planning and scheduling work.
Preparations of project man hours and progress status report in conjunction with the Primavera software. These will be used by the project team to facilitate the reviewing, forecasting and reporting of progress.
Ensure effective coordination and cooperation between other team members, particularly in regard to planning (forecasting) and procurement matters.
Preparations of weekly and monthly progress report for management review and evaluation. Any other tasks which from time to time may assigned to me such as preparations of Project Proposals, daily monitoring and control of all deliverables by discipline in order to meet the projected schedule.
Attend weekly coordination meetings with the client for progress status and concerns of the project. Generations of weekly man hour’s resource project productivity.
Directly responsible to Senior Planning Engineer to work in accordance with appropriate project procedures, instructions, work practices, schedules and budgets and develop additional project specific procedures where necessary.
Prepares activity plans to accomplish scope of work required by the procedures and ensures sufficient planning resources are provided.
Ensures that a physical progress measurement system is in place and to establish, maintain and report against a viable and meaningful physical progress system
as well as to analyze the results of the system, suggest recovery plans and forecast man-hours based on progress and expenditures to date.
Ensures the timely preparation and issue of all site related planning and scheduling data including Level 3 schedules, manpower projection plans, histograms, critical equipment lists, progress curves and Productivity factor.
Supervises with the construction contractors to produce specific programs and schedules to maintain progress and access, open up new work fronts, heavy lifts, etc.
Produces and issue the weekly and monthly Management schedule progress reports, Earned Value Management reports, Variance reports for review, analysis and evaluation.
Attends the weekly/monthly meetings as required and Maintain accurate schedule and control curves in an updated condition and prepare forecasts of trends against the man hours, material quantities and budgets. Ensures compilation of statistical and end of job information.
Directly responsible to Planning Manager and Commissioning Manager in preparation of Project Planning Package for Pre-Turnaround, Turnaround and Post-Turnaround and Commissioning schedules using P6 software presentations as well as providing and updating the project schedule as per assigned areas of responsibility.
Coordinate with Process Support Engineers all the resources relevant to construction and commissioning schedule for updating by unit and by system.
Performs tracking down of changes in schedule in a daily basis and review Client’s comments as to the logic/sequence, priorities and relationship of all activities and to be incorporated in the master schedule for finalization.
