PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This is an Analytical project for Walmart-US which provides sourcing information on whether the items are procured from Domestic or Import channel. Various analytical Dashboards were created in comparison to previous year to show the trend/pattern for KPI metrics like Sales, Retail cost, Maintained Margins etc by MTD and YTD across various channels, SBUs, Dept. & categories.
Responsibilities:
Created Tableau dashboards on Big data Analytics platform of Greenplum and SAP HANA broadly for two major business one providing the sourcing analytics for Pharmacy Domain and the other for General Merchandise.
Created Interactive dashboards combining multiple views pointing to different tables through Data Blending. Also created story boards on dashboards.
Worked closely with business users and gathered requirements from them, created technical specifications, estimation documents.

To build an enterprise data warehouse for the Centrica - BGB to their Sales data and develop the BI reports for their business needs.
Responsibilities:
Involved in preparing technical specification document showing all the necessary steps to be taken for the project and scheduling Technical design meetings with team leader and manager. Involved in installation and configuration of MS SQL Server 2005 and 2008.
Modified the existing SSIS packages to meet the changes specified by the users.

The objective of the project is to develop a Loyalty Management Product (LMP). This Product is intended for retailers selling directly to consumers.
Responsibilities:
Transformed data from different data sources like different data bases to SQL Server 2005 using OLE DB connection providers by creating various SSIS packages. Data is transformed from hub (ODS) to data warehouse.
Used SSIS to create ETL packages (.dtsx files) to validate, extract, transform and load data from ODS to related destination databases for residential, business, large business users.
Created SQL server Analysis Projects and created multi-dimensional databases and OLAP cubes and dimensions for the analysis of capacity planning task in specific areas for departmental manager using SSAS.
