GSET - stands for Goldman Sachs electronic trading platform. It provides the electronic platform to clients to connect to different exchanges and trade in the exchange.

It’s purely client based service generally know as DMA service – Direct Market access.
Client sent DMA orders through GS platform to exchange, the orders enter through GS system as fix order and processed through GS system to reached exchange and the confirmation, execution from exchange then goes back to client through GS system, No traders, or manual intervention involved through this process from GS side, so it’s called no touch flow. The flow support Cash, ETF, CFD, SWAP, derivative products for trading.

Algorithmic trading system utilizes very advanced mathematical models for making transaction decisions in the financial markets. The strict rules built into the model attempt to determine the optimal time for an order to be placed that will cause the least amount of impact on a stock's price. Large blocks of shares are usually purchased by dividing the large share block into smaller lots and allowing the complex algorithms to decide when the smaller blocks are to be purchased. The use of algorithmic trading is most commonly used by large institutional investors due to the large amount of shares they purchase every day. Complex algorithms allow these investors to obtain the best possible price without significantly affecting the stock's price and increasing purchasing costs.
AXP (Algorithimic execution platform) is the BAML algorithmic engine. It supports different type of Strategy – POV, VWAP, TWAP, QMOC, INSTINCT, SMA, STEALTH, AMBUSH, and GETDONE.
Both high touch(Program Trading, Single share Trading) and low touch/No touch (Electronics Trading) flow uses AXP to trade orders in different exchanges in Asia.

It is also used for client side booking. Client can send his order by fix massage or by mail or by calling the GS Sales desk and place his order. Fix orders are visible in SPORT Fix Manager. Sales Trader form different region use this single application to enter order and can trade in any region. SPORT is used to trade ETF, CFD, SWAP.
