Warehouse Management

Formulating plans for procurement of spare/tools and consumables & monitoring the procurement from the vendors at optimum costs for seamless operations. Interacting with user departments for analyzing the required material. Ensuring proper documentation for in warding of materials spares parts and consumables and check for variances by conducting stock verification. Preparing:

• Daily KPI, MIS.

• Monthly report of spares parts as per issues like Plant transfer. Handling the inventory function so as to curtail inventory holding expenses and adherence to maximum and minimum stocking system for various spares and minimize wastage.

Identifying and implementing A B, C class spares parts, slow moving and non- moving spares to reduce the inventory. Classifying & codification material according to their value & importance. Conducting a yearly check to dispose the scrap and return the rejected material to suppliers & moving the raw material from the place of storage to the place of manufacture.

Reducing the DND and LIS of the materials.

Freight

All the materials related to warehouse were booked by us. Door delivery and door booking/door collection is also part of our working. Corporate booking was our main concern area.

Sundry booking was also handled by us.

Door delivery against consignee copy was also part of our operation. Stockyard Management or Yard Management (Maruti Stockyard) Dispatch almost 80% of the order placed.

Materials Management/ Vendor Development

Vendor optimization by Process, Material or capacities & establishing activities. Ensuring optimum inventory without hampering the Billing process Key Result Areas:

Interfacing in upcountry distribution planning, vehicle arrangement, loading schedule (hour-to-hour planning) and STN and permit utilizations
