When construction is complete, RREM Project Manager does a final inspection to ensure all

Consulted to help Meridian prepare a bid proposal to manage the PHEAL (Public Health,

buildings. The buildings consist of office space, 24 x 7 call centers, 150,000 square feet of data centers and

I participated in the Energy Management effort with the Property Team for the Northeast and the total
savings of reduced energy for the three phases was $553,356.00 for the year.

Assistant Facilities Manager responsible for managing the Engineering staff supporting the core and shell
operation of a chemical production and compounding facility and laboratories for food flavors and
fragrances. Responsible for facility and production plant quality control as well as the cGMP (current Good
Manufacturing Processes) for foods and fragrance industries. My responsibility was to test each flow hood
for proper flow rate and pressure and also to inspect and maintain laboratory makeup air systems. On a
regular frequency, the carbon filters were tested for VOC absorption and quality of discharge air. This was
reported to the NJDEP on a regular frequency. Also performed with clients the monthly operations audits of
the quality of operations and production. I also recorded and reported the waste water quality to ensure no
chemicals from production had been disposed into the waste water system. The production facility is
250,000 square feet and laboratory and office space equal to 500,000 square feet.

Managed over 800,000 square feet of facilities consisting of four separate properties in two states.
The properties were owned and leased. Managed five separate operating budgets totaling over $10
million annually, as well as relocation and restack projects as large as $2 million.
Contributed, along with project team, to the $800 million development of a 12 building corporate
campus regarding all phases of construction and developed the day two operations team at the same
time.
First in the nation to install LED (light emitting diode) lighting fixtures in four parking garages.
Removed 1,000 230 watt metal halide fixtures and replaced them with 80 watt 50,000 hour LED low bay
fixtures. Payback on this installation was 2.5 years. This effort received a prescriptive measure from the
NJ Smart Start program of $40,000. Since then the product has been adopted by parking authorities
across the United States, i.e., New York, Raleigh Durham, Las Vegas, and Texas.
Wrote RFP for a one to two megawatt solar array, both ground mount and roof mount. Interviewed
project proposals for technical aspects as well as well as the financial and economic benefits.
Installed exterior window film on two data centers with south facing glass to reduce the solar gain in
these rooms, improving the performance of the computer room air conditioners by about 10.5 tons load
in each space.
Designed and installed solar powered parking lot emergency phones using radio frequency to
communicate with the security office. The poles also have LED rings with revolving lamps to identify
the phone in a dark parking lot. It also has an area light and strobe light to ID the pole for security. The
versatility of the unit was such that they were able to be installed on the jogging trail and recreation
fields with no wiring.
Reduced the maintenance and improved the thermal efficiency on four chiller plants with the
installation of a sand filtration system on the cooling towers. Payback on this work was only nine
months.

Department Manager of Maintenance Engineering and Facilities Management
Managed a department which included a Facilities Manager, Environmental Health and Safety Manager, and
maintenance/operations and engineering teams that supported the production operation of the company.
Provided support for engineering and development for new corporate initiatives such as the design,
construction and operation of a 10,000 class clean room. Maintained on a regular frequency the Vacuum
chambers where the thin film amorphous solar panels were made. Also managed the day to day operation of
the quality of the 10,000 class clean rooms by performing a regular particulate test. This is where testing of
chemicals was performed. Other responsibilities included consulting to Ove Arup Engineering team in San
Francisco on the construction of a five megawatt solar generating field in Fairfield, CA, as well as a new 50
megawatt production facility in the same area.
