PROJECT WORK

Under the title PC based islanding scheme for generating station at Thermal power station, Ennore, Chennai, from Jan to Mar 2010.

Overview of the project

The scope of the project is basically matching demand when there is a faulty lock in power grid by only using any 2 of the feeders out of all connected to power station, the current process in generating station is done by operator manually, but this project has overcome it by using PC based automatic process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

PRE CONTRACT

Compilation of Tender documents comprising of Terms and Conditions, Technical Specification, drawings and Quantity take off for the Tender BOQ.

Vendor Identification & Short-listing based on the process set by the clients.

Receipt of bids from the qualified vendors and preparation of comparative analysis to commence the negotiation process.

Conducting Negotiation meeting for bidders along with Client.

Preparing and Issuing LOI, LOA & Contract document for final selected vendor to Client.

POST CONTRACT

Receipt of contractors bills / Invoices with required formats and supporting Documents

Verification of Bills and Invoices submitted by Vendors/contractors, by way of site inspection and approved construction Drawings issued by Consultant / Designer.

Processing and recommending payments for MEP packages as per the formats accepted by the Clients.

Preparation of variation and final account statement.

Tracking of project expenses and preparation of cost report (MEP).

Tracking of labour productivity based on site conditions and work progress.

Preparation of QS report and issuing the same to the Client.

Preparing Anticipation of cost for the project based on site progress and issuing the same to the Client.

Preparation of Bill Tracker, Monthly tracker and Payment tracker for submitted payment by Contractor and Issued payment to Client.
