The company has undertaken construction of various small Hydro power projects including operation and maintenance of Malakand-III Hydropower Project, Shishi– Chitral Hydro Power Station, SHARDA Power project Qadirabad, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and many more small projects.

Major Responsibilities:

During the job my responsibilities includes maintenance of accounts according to IAS’s.

1.Ensure compliance of accounting procedures and check for accuracy of cash payment vouchers, Bank Payment vouchers, and journal vouchers together with complete supporting documentation in support to every financial transaction.

2.Providing technical assistance to project on issues of financial reporting, budgeting, disbursements, invoice processing, accounting system, operation of bank/assignment accounts, external audits.

3.Assist the Finance Section in preparation of reimbursement claims monthly and quarterly reports.

4.Prepares Statement of Account, Loan Releases and submits inventory of Trade Receivables.

5.Determines payroll requirements; maintains payroll data; prepares and processes monthly payrolls.

6.Maintaining all Bank Books, and cash books, Journal & Adjustment Vouchers, collection of receipts and other transfer requests.

7.Manage the accountancy for Head Office by recording on a regular basis all invoices and financial transactions of the project.

8.Maintaining of all Expense Registers/Advances-Deposits, General Ledger.

9.Preparation of Tax record, Remittances, GST and Sales Tax.

10.Responsible for day to day running of purchasing material required for company operation and maintenance.

11.Ensure that all purchase orders are accordance with the company policy.

12.Process traveling allowances and medical claims of the project staff.

13.Checking and verification of Bank Reconciliation statement.

14.Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.

15.Handles and maintains any new accounting, timekeeping, payroll, inventory, property, or related procedures and controls.
