I’m currently at a threshold in my career with an Associates of Applied Science degree in Health Information Management. As a graduate student, I graduated with honors maintaining a 4.0 GPA. I also completed the Medical Coding and Billing program at Collin Colege with honors maintaining a 4.0 GPA. I have been researching health care facilities of interest that I feel would be a good fit for my professional interests. After learning about your facility, I am very interested in joining your facility in your Health Information Management department.

As a Health Information Management graduate I have learned a lot about coding requirements in all areas of coding. My coding study’s include ambulatory, inpatient and outpatient coding. I feel that my knowledge of ICD-9, ICD-10 and CPT coding will greatly enhance your Health Information Management department.

As for my RHIT credentials, I’m currently studying to take the RHIT exam in June, 2016.
