1.Receives specimen of blood, urine, stool, and other surgical specimens to assure validity of specimen, explain to the patients about the type of physicians requests as needed, performing daily maintenance & running control for CBC and coagulation (PT & PTT), doing routine laboratory investigation (Hematology, Blood bank), generates collection labels and documents various information including times of collection, receipt and analysis of specimens, running ALEGRIA specimens, presents specimens to the pathologist in an orderly manner, making sure that examination requests correspond with the respective specimens that is appropriate labeled as to the correct patient, doing assessments for the workflow, doing regular inventory of Lab reagents stocks and ordering consumables, maintain healthy environment of the lab by safe disposal of blood, chemical and biological wastes, perform other duties as required by the Clinical Pathologist or Supervisor in other Departments Microbiology, Clinical Chemistry & Immunology also I have CAP experience in hematology section..
