Director of Operations, Flowserve Jan 2008 to March 2016 Charged with oversight for 7 aftermarket Pump / Seal manufacturing facilities in the U.S. and Canada. U.S. locations served East Coast, Midwest, Western and Canadian Regions. Manufacturing, Re-building, Machining, Welding and Testing for all pumps and parts. Ensure all Quick Response Centers (QRC’s) are capable of delivering all Flowserve Service and Solutions through training and certification processes. Drive responsiveness, quality and best-in-class performance across all areas of organization. Improvement and profitable growth on Year-Over-Year (YOY) basis is required. Total P&L responsibility for region ($80M+ with a headcount of 180+). Assumed additional responsibility for Field Service within same region in 2015. Expanded this group as well as securing headcount and properly positioning team for growth.

Accomplishments as Director of Operations:

• Increased Revenue from $45M to $80M+. Hired and managed GM’s for 50% of U.S. & Canadian markets over an 8-year period. Ensured that each location had training and equipment suitable to meet the territory needs. Collaborated with Sales Dept. to increase sales growth. Determined the needs and prepared justification packages for expansions, headcount and capital expense. Increased sales again by double-digit growth in 2015 in a down-market with great fluctuation in the Canadian dollar. Implemented expansion plans for three QRC’s due to facility constraints and defining future growth opportunity and strategic initiatives.

• Increased On Time Delivery (OTD) for region from 78% to a year end OTD in 2015 of 96.8%. Achieved best-in- class OTD of 95% over the past three years. Accomplished by ensuring proper bookings, phasing, production scheduling, man power shifts where and when needed. Providing the teams with proper guidance on 6S and Continuous Improvement Process. Ensuring line of site on a weekly basis as a group by implementing regional weekly meetings with GM’s, Controllers, Quality, HR, Safety and Engineering. Set up daily accountability and weekly production meetings within all sites to ensure all facets, purchasing, engineering, shipping and management were aligned.

• Increased Operating Income (OI) from $10.8M to over $28M in eight years. Successfully utilized skill sets in collaborating with Sales Dept. to properly instruct incoming salesmen in the region on Market Level Pricing. Instituted a system for tracking In/Out Margins. Ensured any action plans as a result of data were put in place and followed through to correction. Performed this in a group setting with direct report GM’s so as to share success stories and promote enthusiasm. Successfully tracked our absorption and shifted headcount where and when needed to accommodate peaks and valleys in loading. General Manager of Operations, Flowserve April 2005 to Jan 2008 Responsible for managing second largest worldwide aftermarket location for Flowserve Pump Division. • Increased Revenue from $10 million to $16 million from 2005 to 2007. This was accomplished by re-energizing a center that had a previously high rate of management turnover.
