Deepwater Gulf of Mexico Drilling Completions and Construction Work with teams to ensure that management systems are incorporated in all project phases. Develop and implement management system work processes, software, and develop staff to meet required compliance across multiple engineering disciplines.
Developed and implemented a Material Managements System (MMS) utilizing Maximo software for the Wells organization. The MMS consisted of material planning, supplier work orders, purchase orders, delivery tracking, warehouse inventory, asset value, cost allocation, and market cost evaluation. The MMS system set the foundation for reconciliation, audit improvements, and a $26MM savings through cash preservation. Lead cost control measures, bottoms-up LE budget development and reviews, prepare AFE’s to budget requests, and allocate funds according to spending priorities. Prepare cost analysis in preparation for contract reviews and negotiation’s. Perform Earned/Planned Value analysis, Actual Cost, and Cost Variance reporting. Develop appropriate cost and budget controls, for labor and material. Build deterministic and probabilistic estimates for each maturity phase and monitor cost progression in relationship to schedule. Establish and maintain cost book, change order register, cost forecasting along with audit trail back to original budget. Create Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and relevant procedures and prepare project plans. Assure cost controls measures are in alignment with company standards and practices. Proficient in building various reports including resource histograms, S curves, trend analysis, work in place, earned value, accruals, milestone reports, earned man-hour reports, percent complete and target schedules. Coordinate the effort to identify and resolve cost issues that are not in alignment with project plan deliverables. Participation in all internal and external audits, investigation of inventory variances and identification of warehouse process gaps, perform routine bin reviews promoting warehouse organization and increasing efficiency for all personnel.
