This was a tree removal service company that had numerous contracts with the surrounding electric companies. I was responsible for all office/ bookkeeping duties including answering phones, payroll, filing, deposits, paying bills, preparing documents for the accountant, filling out all paper work/applications for new contracts, budgeting accounts, quarterly tax returns, end of month/year summary reports, and creating all 1099’s & W-2’s at the end of the year.

This was a real estate appraisal company that serviced 16 counties in Middle Tennessee. I was responsible for answering phones, replying to all correspondences, making appointments for the appraisers, creating appraisal reports, sending reports and any revision work, payroll, paying bills, making deposits, filing reports, keeping a daily log of any outstanding reports/revisions due, creating invoices and sending them to companies, end of month summary reports, handling any client concerns or questions, seeking new clients, submitting applications to new clients, checking emails throughout the day and replying if necessary, creating 1099s at the end of the year, creating yearly expense reports, and many other office/bookkeeping duties.
