I started this business as a part time venture while working at A.O. Smith Corp. and ran it full time after leaving in 1990. I also served on the National Air/Vac Associations board of directors for four years and was president of the association for one year.

Responsible for calculating and processing pay for all hourly and piece work employees at A.O. Smith’s Milwaukee works plant. We had a weekly payroll of up to 3 million dollars a week for over 3,000 employees in 13 different unions. I spent two years working with Information Technologies staff, Industrial Engineering and Labor Relations building a totally computerized attendance and production management system, while supervising 25 union employees and two other supervisors. Once this system was built, I trained management staff on its use and an assisted the help center in daily monitoring of the system. I started at A. O. Smith working in the shop and performed many different jobs, - fork truck driver, punch press operator, crane hooker and timekeeper in many different divisions within A. O. Smith. I was promoted to supervisor of timekeeping in 1976.
