Project Name: Advanced X-Ray inspection system, for scanning containers at Chennai port. Client: Directorate of Logistics, Customs and Central excise, New Delhi OEM: Smiths Detection, FRANCE.

Work Experience – May 4th 2014 to till date

Role – Overall coordination for project execution . Responsibilities

Daily to day work planning, monitoring and all over execution .

Inspect the works undertaken for compliance with required quality and good workmanship practice.

Preparing work schedules, monitoring the progress, supervision of works. Preparing daily/weekly progress reports.

Regular meetings with the client (Chennai customs) and client representatives to discuss project progress, etc.

Monitoring and coordinating with other agencies like Architect, Interiors, Electrical etc.

Documentation like cube test reports and test reports of all construction materials.

Decision making on all construction activities of building along with Finishing items, Preparation of estimates, taking measurements, Contractor’s bill certification and familiarity with external / internal plumbing & sanitary systems, Electrical etc.

Inspect and assess/monitor health and safety on site.

Liasoning works like contractor permit from the respective authorities, electrical, water supply, foreigners BOI clearance etc.

Taking active part in complying with CPWD norms & BIS along with relevant documentation.

Preparation of SOQ & BOQ and site modification sketches. Work Experience:

Structural shuttering, reinforcement, concrete using RMC and scaffolding for tunnel structure & Office Admin building, piling, storm water drain, Concrete weigh bridge, RCC pavement, water proofing,finishing works like painting,tiling false ceiling(aluminum & gypboard),CC flooring, steel fabrication like canopy,covered foot path, tunnel maintenance platform, mono rail, electrical works, fire hydrant, HVAC, lighting, earthing, communication, installation equipments, electrical panel, UPS and DG erection, plumbing works like water line connections,sewage connections, Rain water harvesting and landscaping.
