Migrated from a traditional telephone system to a VOIP Cisco Call Manager and Unity environment.

Implemented video conferencing between 3 facilities using Tangberg endpoints tied into Call Manager

Designed and implemented VPN access for external users a Cisco VPN concentrator.

Implemented a VPN fail-over capability between facilities using Cisco firewalls.

Hired and trained IT staff members.

Facility General Manager (1999-2000)

Opened Asian Foods Kansas City distribution center.

Retrofitted a warehouse to into a multi-temperature distribution center.

Designed the layout of the distribution center for optimal performance and efficiency.

Managed all drivers and warehouse workers (20 associates).

Connected facilities utilizing QOS to prioritize traffic over low bandwidth (128 kbps partial T1)

Implemented a Citrix solution for the remote users and facilities.

Network Hardware Manager

Converted entire campus to Ethernet using Cisco and Bay Routers and Switches, to support approximately 5000 ports, 100 buildings, and three campuses.

Designed and implemented all expansion of the core campus network utilizing a Cisco 6509.

Responsible for all connectivity to the Internet and telephone company’s central offices.
