oAt present working at MEDEOR 24x7 HOSPITAL Abudhabi as audiologist. Dept of clinical Rehabilitation from 02/05/2015 to till date.

Involved in the following. Infant hearing assessment program (which include routine hearing screen of New Born Babies and Babies of Neonatal intensive care unit. Hearing assessment and management of all age group.

oI have worked at SIEMENS HEARING CARE, Dubai, a German based company, as Audiologist from 11/01/2013 to 26/02/2015

Measured hearing acuity and identified the type and degree of hearing loss for patients of all ages. candidacy evaluation for cochlear implant, Prescription of appropriate hearing aids using subjective and objective procedures, including use of measures like insertion gain and electroacoustic characteristics. Know to program all the type of programmable hearing aids and other assistive listening devices.

oI have worked at ATHANI HOSPITAL, Palakkad, kerala India as senior consultant audiologist from 24/09/2012 to 12/12/2012.

My duties include evaluation of adults and children with hearing impairment using behavioral and electrophysiological instruments and fitting of appropriate hearing aid using real ear measurements, candidacy evaluation for cochlear implant. Speech assessment and therapy for disorders like child language, voice, fluency disorders, Autism, Phonological process disorders, Dysarthria, Adult language, neurological speech – language disorders.

oI have worked at MCV ENT TRUST HOSPITAL, (Department of Audio vestibular unit) pollachi, Tamilnadu, India as consultant audiologist from 01/08/2011 to 01/08/2012.

Assessed adult, geriatric and pediatric patients using standard pure tone audiometry, speech audiometry, immittance, Brain Stem Evoked Response Audiometry (BERA) and otoacustic emissions (OAEs) for diagnostic and rehabilitative purposes.

Evaluated the Vestibular function of adult and geriatric patients using electronystagmography (ENG) and vedionystagmography (VNG).

Evaluation are also carried out to select individual who would benefit from COCHLEAR IMPLANT and carried out services related to Pre – Post (NRT, MAPPING) operative analysis and rehabilitation of cochlear implant (Nucleas, Advanced bionics ) patients.

As part of my Internship, I have undertaken training in the following hospitals and institutes for a period of 10 month:

As part of clinical practicum in Audiology during PGDNA and Bachelors education, posted in various departments and can handle variety of cases across different age range.

oCan efficiently administer all types of Audiological Assessment tests such as Pure tone audiometry, Speech Audiometry, BOA, VRA, Immittance Evaluation, Auditory evoked potentials and Oto Acoustic Emissions.

oCompetent in parental counseling and group counseling sessions.

oCan organize Screening Camp for hearing impaired individuals for different age groups.

oTesting for retro-cochlear or cochlear pathology through various audiometric tests like short increment sensitivity index, tone decay test, supra threshold adaptive test, etc.

oTesting for malingering hearing loss.

oTesting for central auditory processing disorder through pitch pattern test, dichotic CV test, gap detection test, etc.

oHearing aid selection, dispensing, and programming of different types of conventional, programmable, and digital hearing aids.

oScreening neonates for hearing acuity in hospital setup.

oVaghmi and perceptual assessment

oTesting to assess the candidacy for cochlear implants.

oIn depth knowledge on Mapping for Cochlear Implants through observation.

oElectro acoustic measurement and real ear measurements of hearing aids.

oTinnitus and hyperacusis assessment and intervention.

Speech & Language Pathology:

oAssessment and diagnosis of various speech language disorders.

oFamiliar in using various speech language tests for various disorders.

oFamiliar in using various objective tests for diagnosis and therapy.

oFamiliar in various therapy techniques for all speech and language disorders.

oCounseling clients and the families regarding speech and language therapy.

oAn Independent Project Submitted on Comparison of Tone-ABR and ASSR for Threshold Estimation: A Meta-Analysis as a Part Fulfilment of Post Graduate Diploma in Neuro Audiology.
