TVA WATTS BAR DUAL UNIT SCHEDULING TRANSITION MANAGER August 2014-Present

Project Controls Manager – P3 to P6 conversion and Maximo 7.5 Upgrade

§Conversions expertise to lead transition to dual unit work control using P6 as well as site DBA for P6.

§Assist with Maximo 7.5 upgrade testing and verifying accuracy of bridge design between P6 and Maximo.

§Oversee cleanup of filters that feed performance indicators, which resulted in the most acceptable workweek performance trend since the plant opened.

Project Controls Manager – Phillips 66 Projects

§Created detailed C3, C4, C5 EPC project schedule as well as full supporting cash flow and man-hour loading.

§Developed man-hour loaded level 3 FEL-3 and detailed design schedules in Oracle Primavera P6 v8.3. Result: Burns and McDonnel awarded engineering for a $1.4B export grade propane facility.

§Increased efficiency and effectiveness of engineering recovery scheduling group. Developed WBS that facilitated combining 72 engineering projects supported by 8 contract schedulers into a single 12,000 task schedule supported by 2 contract schedulers.

§Moved to OCC to rebuild and make 32,000 task outage schedule useable.

§Corrected WBS, reduced outage file to 12,000 tasks, cleaned up the 48 page schedule log, and reduced contract support staff from 8 to 3.

§Built baseline of 3000 activities and approved in 5 weeks allowing submission of $14.4m in change orders, all of which were subsequently approved as well as 7 months in stranded invoices.

§Analyzed the outage critical path daily and recommended corrections to negative float.

§Developed a detailed, integrated EPC schedule in P3 for a 100Mw wind farm project. Loaned to TetraTech to baseline three projects in Wyoming in P3 due to owner refusal to pay invoices not submitted per contract requirements.

§Re-baselined three 160-tower wind projects simultaneously by training the individual project managers in P6 scheduling. Projects were very similar in scope with a total project value of $1B.

§Developed a baseline schedule for the Northeast Utilities New England East-West Solution T&D Project.

§NEEWS project included four sub-projects, 6,000 scheduled activities, and over 100 miles of underground and above ground transmission.

§Rebuilt project baseline for AE firm, which required completely rebuilding WBS and a massive detail reduction to the project CPM schedule to resolve reported percent complete and invoicing issues.

Project Controls Support at PSNH - Transmission & Distribution CPM Scheduler

§Developed CPM project schedules for PSNH’s 5-year planned capital projects in PERT format for project manager and contractor reviews prior to bid award. This group of 31 T&D projects included 4,500 total scheduled activities with project budgets ranging from $10M to $300M.

§Created project schedules from scratch and collaborated with engineering in developing bid proposals and working in the field with contractors to obtain weekly quantities and forecasts.

§Scheduled an 11-mile new 345kv line installed by J.C. Reed in the Raymond, NH area.

§Completed project three months ahead of schedule and was the first PSNH T&D project with no change orders.
