OBJECTIVE: To bring forth my skills that are essential in helping out your
organization. I enjoy doing the right things in life and whenever I can help another
individual out, I think it makes the world a little bit of a better place.
SKILLS and ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Attended the P.A.L. or Police Athletic League. I was a quiet child growing up and
I feel like this program help me develop my citizenship skills just from being
around the other kids.
Around the age of 12 I received an outstanding citizenship award from the
teachers at my middle school. This award was given to me for exhibiting great
character and compassion towards other people.
I played football for 12 years. This shows my athletic ability. I feel this could
help the organization out when deal with uncooperative people.
Senior year I was on my high school weightlifting team and went to state.
In high school I was a captain for 3 years and in college I became a captain my
senior year. This shows my leadership abilities. I have the ability to lead by
example. I lead with my actions and not with my words.
The senior year of my college football career, I was awarded the John Fogle
award for displaying outstanding leadership on and off the field.
Helped with the Asset Protection at Wal-Mart. I feel like this helped me pick up
on the way people act when they are doing something erroneous.
Three months of working at Cove Prep I received staff of the week twice. One
was for putting in a lot of overtime and the other one was for catching one of
the kids at work trying to commit suicide and stopping him.

INTERNSHIP
Polk County Sheriffs Department/Crime Scene Investigation
I worked here in December, over Christmas break. This experience opened my
eyes to what I would be seeing when I get out in my career field. It showed me
that you could not have a weak stomach working for any law enforcement field
because you will see some gruesome things. This job helped me opened up my
surveillance skills because I looked for evidence at each crime scene, trying to
solve each case.
