Personal Achievements
Planned 2 turnarounds at Chemical Initiatives (2007 and 2010) making a personal best in 2010 where I improved the turnaround from a 23 day process to a 12 day process creating a new plant record. Chemical Initiative is a 500ton per day sulfuric acid plant built in 1974, with the following plants attached Sulfur Dioxide, Sulfur Trioxide, Oleum, Sulphonic Acid and Alumni Sulphate. My role entailed:
oCreate a project plan by evaluating the plant machinery and reviewing if items require repair, replace or refurbish and linking a cost to the machinery.
oScheduled a labour force of over 150 employees from supervisors, boilermakers, pipefitters, welders, general labour, cleaners as well as contractors.
oCreated a well executed timeframe plan per job to ensure that we kept within the timelines.
oOrdered supplies / parts as per job plan.
oReports reviewed every 5 hours to ensure we were on track and if adjustments are required to our timeframe.
Installation at Sago Chemical plant specializing in resin 04 reactor units. Supervision and fabrication done myself from 1997 to 2000.
