Work Experience:

Working in a project development organization involved in making various Engineering final year projects.

Embedded System Projects:

Development of a Green House Monitoring and controlling system.

Description : This project is designed in order to check the environmental conditions in a Green House. Different sensors like Temperature sensor, humidity sensor, LDR etc are used to detect the environmental condition in the desired plant area which can be seen on a smart phone connected to the system using a Bluetooth module. We can perform necessary actions such as driving motors, water pump, lit up light etc from the phone using an android application.

Role in the project : Embedded C coding for the Arduino. Assembly of all hardware.

Tool : Arduino.

Language And Methodology : Embedded C

Automatic Vehicle Immobilization using GSM.

Description : This project is in regards to the security purpose of vehicles. Here we have used sensors like tilt sensor, Alcohol detector and a numeric keypad. Tilt is detected while in a long drive due to naps and if any alcohol is detected in the vehicle will immobilize the engine. The numeric keypad is used to unlock the password set to ignite the engine. Whenever any of these sensors detection occurs and password doesn't matches for 3 times, the owner of the vehicle gets a message for alert through a GSM module and an alarm beeps inside the vehicle.

Role in the project : Embedded C coding for 8051. Assembly of all hardware.

Tool : 8051 microcontroller, Keil Micro Vision.

Language And Methodology : Embedded C

System Verilog Projects Details:

Coverage driven verification of Ethernet loopback design using System Verilog.

Tool : Questa Adv. Simulator Mentor Graphics 12.0b

Language and methodology : System verilog

Responsibility :

Functional & coverage driven verification of Ethernet loop back design.

Generating Ethernet Packets, passed through a mailbox and sent to Bus Functional model (BFM) and eventually driven to the DUT.

Use of components like monitor, reference model and checker are done for proper verification process.

AXI Verification IP Development using System Verilog.

Tool : Questa Adv. Simulator Mentor Graphics 12.0b

Language and methodology : System verilog

Responsibility :

VIP component development for AXI3.0 protocol.

As part of this project we have developed BFM, Generator, Monitor, Coverage models.

Verification is done by considering understanding of AXI3.0 protocol, interface signals, Protocol features, handshaking protocol, transaction phases (request, data, response) timing diagram understanding.

M-Tech Academic Final Year Project

Project Title : Study of Offset Cancellation Techniques for Opamps.

Description : Two types of offset cancellation techniques for Opampsare

demonstrated in this work.

Type 1:

This provides a control line, produces an injected trimming current varied by a potentiometer to cancel out DC error at one of the inputs.

Type 2:

In the second technique a feedback network for the Opamp formed by an auxiliary amplifier is used which provides a required amount of current at one of the input branches for reducing the offset error automatically.

It is based on the auto zero technique for offset cancellation.

Conclusion : Unlike other convention techniques the proposed techniques effectively reduces the offset voltage, avoids the potentially stability issue, consumes a low silicon area, low power consumption and temperature independent.

B-Tech Academic Final Year:

Project Title : Security Access Control System Using AT89C51 Microcontroller.

Description :

It is a small electronic unit comprises a numeric keypad to control a solenoid-operated lock fixed outside the entry door.

Upon entering correct security code (password), the relays are operated to unlatch the solenoid-operated clock, so the door can be opened for an access to restricted areas.

At the end of the preset delay, the relay energizes and the door gets locked again.

Conclusion : Due to the microcontroller used here many external components like power and cost are reduced greatly. These kinds of units can be used at the places where very important data's, information's and valuable properties are stored to avoid hackers, thieves to reach the area.
