Upgraded Vulcanization Presses to include a cheaper energy source. Included in upgrade was decreased vulcanization cycle time, increased press kinematics and Better Quality through Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of cured tire.

Capital Budget: $1MM with a (12) Month schedule. Result: $870k and commissioned in 10 months.

Supervised a D-1 Classified Proprietary Mold Making Process that resulted in a Savings of $20,000/mold and >$1MM In 4 Months.

Direct Preventative Maintenance, spare parts inventory, extrusion of rubber, and adhesives, Risk & Reliability analysis, plant shutdown activities and plan capital budget. Participate in internal/external management audits in adherence to Michelin’s Continuous Improvement methodologies: PHA, PSSR, MOC & PPAP.
