Profile
Motivated, hands on professional with Mechanical Engineering degree and a successful
Application/Product PFI Injector Engineer for Continental Automotive. Talent with engines and mechanical aptitude leading to overseeing all recreational and race fuel injector applications at one of the largest automotive component manufactures in the world. Tracking of all aspects of customer requests, 30 to 50 open tasks, which included anything from initial theoretical engine performance calculations to first time production builds and any issues throughout the life of the program, was a big part of my position.
Flexible and versatile - moved into a variety of project management and product engineering responsibilities on top of application engineering responsibilities. Worked with quality, supplier quality and manufacturing on a weekly basis to make decisions for manufactured components and customer products. Developed parts of the next generation fuel injector, still in development, using Autodesk Inventor and Ansys Workbench. Worked with suppliers for new components and required data for repeatability and specifications.
