Achievements:
Developed R&D funding for USMC Mobile Collection System. Established relationships with Prime Contractor and secured funding of a four person cross-functional engineering team to design and develop two prototype systems for Developmental Testing (DT). Awarded additional funding based on DT success for the integration of four more systems. Team expanded to 20 personnel increasing company project revenues by 75%.
Won production contract for 63 USMC Mobile Collection Systems. Submitted successful proposal including schedules, sub-contractor management, quality control, system verification testing, and program cost.
Prepared sub-contract for entire metal fabrication order including on-site quality inspections and timely delivery of fabrications. Delivered high-quality metal work reducing individual system cost with a total material cost saving of over $600,000. Recognized additional cost saving through on-site inspections with no equipment returns saving $150.000. The use of bulk purchasing reduced overall system cost adding $400,000 in production cost savings.
Awarded additional R&D and production funds based on the success of mobile systems to outfit nine additional platforms in the USMC inventory.
