Instructional Coach
Orenda Canoe Club, Lake Echo, NS July 2015-September 2015
Facilitated practices for children ages 5-7 on a daily basis, and managed time to ensure punctuality for all scheduled items
Coordinated with parents, ensuring all matters and concerns where properly addressed in a particular manner.
Supervised regattas ensuring the children knew where they needed to be at all times, in addition to ensuring fellow coaches were following directions and getting their children on the water.
Monitored and collected money at events in the entrances, and canteen, ensuring all money was accounted for and delivered to the Head Coach.
Developed programs that emphasized participant character building. Towards the end of the summer it was prominent that the children capabilities and displayed had improved.

Analyzed and interpreted the instructions the coordinator gave within a small time frame.
Administered and oversaw the Spelling Task, clarifying any misunderstood information to ensure each team’s chances of winning were fair.
Evaluated the team’s performance, assigning points to correctly spelled words based on a specified marking guideline, ensuring the points were computed correctly.
Adapted to the computer software provided, utilizing it in order to calculate points to relay to the Head Judges promptly and quickly.

Candidate
Eastern Shore District High, Musquodoboit Harbor, NS March 2015 – April 2016
Participated and won Eastern Shore District High’s second annual “Mr. ESDH” pageant, while managing school work and paddling.
Gathered materials for props, located and arranged places to film the preview, and scheduled the times to meet up and film.
Analyzed video’s and collected information to choreograph the dance segment. As well as recruited students interested in being back-up dancers and arrange times to meet.
Promoted and publicized the pageant via internet video, social media, posters, and word of mouth.
