So, the activities included giving support to the system administrators, in order to configure the new platform. The main activities included not only install and configure the binary software (Oracle Enterprise Edition), but also create, configure and migrate all of the ORACLE Databases (development, testing and production) to the new version, and configure four databases with RAC technology. Finally, I designed, developed and implemented the backup and recovery strategy for the new ORACLE Databases (using RMAN and Veritas Netbackup scheduler).

Support to create and configure the ORACLE database platform for the Camera of Electronic Compensation. The application installed on this platform, was SCS from Atos Origin provider. The activities of that project involved to create databases on Microsoft Windows 2000 (Server) and HP UX operating systems. The Windows database was configured with ORACLE Fail Safe, in order to guarantee database services’s high availability.

Design, develop and implementation of the performance monitoring utility for the ORACLE databases. The utility was developed with unix shell scripts (Korn Shell). This utility sends automatic messages, in case of some database's threshold exceed the normal values. For instance, the space used by the segments in permanent tablespaces.
