My dutieswere tomake sure the facility that I was assigned to, was a safe environment. I had to maintain other security officer that was on duty. I was also anescort for peoplewho did not have a TWIC card to enter into a secure area, suchas a dock thatwas used to receive items by boat.My job was also to assist the FSO(Facility Security Officer) onduty as needed. I had tocheck every truck that had tomake a delivery or pick up. I had to log visitors in and out. I alsohad to patrol the parkingareas. ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Certified armed guard with a 9mmin New Orleans, Louisiana, also in Houston, Texas 2012. I also was certified to carry handcuffs, pepper spray, and a baton for protectionon the job. I took self defense classes, where I receive an award for completing the programcalled MOAB. I also receive a certificate in MARSEC levels 1, 2, 3 exercise training.
