Highlighted Accomplishments
Played a key role in making financial industry company more competitive. Core business product was weak and not competitive with S&P and Moody’s. Redesigned core database and ratings application and created new indices, tracking, and reporting. Increased value of the rating data feed product from $15K to $200K annually per client.
Designed and maintained system and data security. For four different companies, I developed and maintained the security controls for both systems and data. In the role of security office, I designed, deployed and managed Identify Management controls for software applications, services and facilities that included single sign-on, enterprise active directory, resource services, and user PKI solutions. These services were designed and deployed to meet or exceeded industry best practices and federal agency requirements.
Conceived and developed a “game changer” for medical technology firm. Competition was growing in an already intensely competitive market and company needed a WOW factor to sell and renew services. Devised and deployed an innovative critical data management platform. Led directly to profitable sale of company.
Reined in runaway costs. Global communication costs were spiraling upward, jeopardizing competitive advantages in time-sensitive financial markets. Restructured global infrastructure, reducing costs by almost 50%. Improved global connectivity as well as international sales offices’ efficiency and presence in their markets.
Built new healthcare business from ground up. Along with a co-owner, seized opportunity to provide technology and management services to a large healthcare organization. Developed proposals and made presentations to decision makers including Business VP/Directors, CIO and Directors, and Physicians. Won multi-year contract.
