Provide technical support to individuals as per protocol procedures offered by the Core facility.
Responsible for researching and optimizing antibodies for use.
Order supplies required for the Core facility.
Supervisor to students who volunteer in the facility.
During my time as the Core manager, I received two merit raises.

Sole Histological technician for the chair of the department, Dr. Todd Rosengart performing various immuno stains for purposes of identifying biomarkers for various cardiac related projects. Responsible for performing various research techniques on multiple molecular based projects regarding gynecological cancers as a primary technician reporting to Dr. Kenneth Shroyer, Department Chairman. I have been evaluated as proficient in histologic processing and sectioning of tissues, decalcification procedure, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, in-situ hybridization, construction of tissue microarrays, cryosectioning and in laser capture micro dissection.
