Title : Manufacturing of BNRA HS Wagon in Bharat Wagon and Engineering Co.Ltd. (BWEL) Mokama, Bihar
Duration : 30 days
Scope of the project : Fabrication and supply of Freight Wagons (BNRA HS WAGON)
Learnings
Metal sheets are cut as per standard size of wagon and drillings are made from the stanchions. Staloy -1a,
a basic stainless steel electrode giving low carbon 19Cr-9Ni is used as highly resistance to cracking and
corrosion to weld individual parts
Plane sheets are fixed to the under frame through stanchion, side attachment plates, crib angle and
welding of different parts occurs which carried with help of crane, fixed to the Bogie and send to the Painting
department where painting and naming of wagon is done
Training 2
Title : Training in NTPC Ltd. Barh, Bihar
Duration : 15 days
Scope of the project : Generation of electricity of 3,300MW of coal-generated power in two stages with
1,980MW in Barh I and 1,320MW in Barh II
Learnings
Conversion of Coal into Steam- Pulverized into powder form in bowl mill and send to economizer, due to difference of heat and density difference, water coming from boiler rises and convert to steam in boiler drum
Steam into Mechanical Power- From boiler, a steam pipe conveys steam to turbine where it passes through different stages of rings of stationary blades until it reach to end of high pressure cylinder
Mechanical to Electrical Power- As blades of the turbine rotates, shafts of the generator, coupled to that of turbine rotates results in rotation of coil generator, causes induced electricity to be produced
Pollution Aspects- Learn proper ventilation of smoke from chimneys so that it causes less harm to the local environment and
how to reuse the heat energy evolved from boiler for different purposes

Title of the Project : 3D-Printing
Scope of the Project : Making of 3D solid cube using CATIA software
Role and Responsibilities
Work as a Project Team leader to ensure all the quantitative and qualitative result should be achieved
Assembling of various part of printer from kit
Job is to design a solid cube from CATIA and generate G-code using Cura software
Learnings
Used to build a prototype, conveyed in 3D, is an additive manufacturing technology which construct
physical object from CATIA, one layer at a time through an extrusion like process using plastic to
spray a bonding agent onto very thin layer of flexible powder
Deposited created by a machine can be applied very accurately to build an object from bottom up,
layer by layer with resolution that, even in least expensive machines are more than sufficient to
express a large amount of detail
Process even accommodates moving parts within the object. Using different materials and bonding
agents, colour can be applied and parts can be rendered in plastic
