EXPERIENCE

Project Manager at Catalyst/SXC/Catamaran/Optum 2011 - 2016

Applied Six Sigma methodologies to ensure new hires had all the critical equipment and access they needed on day 1 resulting in over 3 million in saving over 5 years.

Teamed with New Client Implementation to develop requirements, design, and implement the new client implementations system in ServiceNow. Worked with over 20 business teams to gather data elements, high level tasks and develop workflow. Developed a client SharePoint site that integrated implementation documents with ServiceNow. Trained over 150 Catamaran personnel in the usage of the system.

Project managed the data center migration of the PBS system from Walgreens to Catalyst. This 18 month project involved all IT PBM business applications including adjudication and its pre and post subsystems, infrastructure, and client/vendor connectivity. This PBS system was the heart of the PBM business and was successfully transitioned for hundreds of clients.

Tracked the progress of 90+ projects against Cigna service level agreements to ensure projects were created for each business requirement and on schedule. Compliance status was maintained for 23 business owners and 90+ projects. No penalties were incurred during this period.

Governance Lead at Walgreens 2011 - 2011

Asked by management to build and manage the Claim Solutions Governance group responsible for implementation of new SDLC lifecycle workflows including training documentation and classroom instruction for the Claim Solutions workforce. Process improvements developed by Governance and the CS Quality Program drove the configuration of Atlassian project workflow and WIKI productivity tools.

Initiated the Claim Solutions PMO group and led a staff of 7 project managers. The PMO managed over 100 projects at a time including the management of the third party software vendor SXC.

Project managed up to 20 projects including multiple complex projects and all projects for third party vendor SXC

Successfully passed annual internal and external software change control audits based on physical evidence for hundreds of projects from 2007-2010. Walgreens’ PBM had failed audits the previous 3 years. All audits were passed during this period.

When Hospira was spun off from Abbott in 2004, Government Reporting systems were implemented which included the integration of the I-many Government Reporting package together with major modifications to the in house pricing system.
