Description: Defects are identified & reported during reviews and testing of the work products / deliverables. Currently the projects in NABU use the Review Record and Defect Tracker Form [RRDTF] which is available in the organizational QMS for logging and tracking the defects/ review comments. Since RRDTF is an excel based template, the logging, tracking and analysis of the defects reported is a cumbersome process. A lot of manual effort is currently being spent for tracking the defects to closure. The projects are finding it difficult to accurately report the defect metrics [to NABU PMO] as the manual consolidation process is time consuming and error-prone.
The solution to overcome the problem is to have a comprehensive defect tracking tool which would permit logging, tracking and analysis of the defects at the project as well as BU Level. Having the tool will also reduce the effort that is current being spent for data capture and analysis. This will also increase effectiveness of data capture by having defined workflow and tool built-in validation of data completeness and accuracy

Description: This application provides the ultimate content migration solution for Microsoft SharePoint Products and Technologies. It constitutes a standalone application designed for the rapid content migration from eRoom 7.3 to MOSS 2007.

eRoom Extractor
SharePoint Importer
eRoom Extractor is to be installed on the machine where the migrated eRoom is residing. It extracts the content from community level to room level from eRoom Server and it reads and extracts the ownership information (ACL’s) of their Room objects that will be selected for import and generates XML files with Meta data. This module is capable of handling the user’s extraction from eRoom along with their roles in eRoom and differentiates between Local/Native and ADS users.
SharePoint Importer reads the generated XML files and constructs the SharePoint sites and creates the SharePoint objects accordingly with Meta data that was found in XML files. User can create all the native/local users are created in the domain by giving the domain name. All the eRoom objects ACL’s are migrated to SharePoint Objects.
It generates the different types of reports like object summary/detailed reports and Users summary/detailed report and also it generates the requisite reports on the status of each object (that is selected for extract) during the extract process from eRoom.
