Dhaka Medical College Hospital:

During my internship rotation I had to work in the department of Medicine, Pediatrics, Surgery, Gynecology & Obstetrics, Psychiatry and the allied branches.

I took patients’ history, performed physical examinations, ordered and interpreted necessary lab and imaging tests.

Worked in the floor, ER and also in the outpatient

Attended weekly didactics, monthly seminars, case conferences, grand rounds.

I was a regular presenter in the grand rounds as well as in the morning case conferences.

I performed various procedures, such as phlebotomy, urinary catheterization, nasogastric intubation, paracentesis, lumbar puncture etc.

I also did some minor surgical procedures, such as suturing, abscess drainage, lymph node biopsy, and breast tissue biopsy.

I performed normal spontaneous vaginal delivery, episiotomy and assisted in major surgeries.

I was a member of “Sandhani”, which is the largest blood collecting voluntary students’ organization in Bangladesh and I worked with the team as well as individually to collect blood.
