JOB DESCRIPTION
Administer pharmacological agent to respiratory care procedure via aerosol therapy.
Perform chest physiotherapy, such as Postural drainage, Chest Percussion and Vibration
Administer various oxygen therapy devices, like CPAP, Venturi Mask, all purpose Nebulizer, T-piece set, Face mask, and Nasal cannula.
Respond to a Code BLUE and perform Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, ECG documentation, and assist physician in Endotracheal Intubation.
Prepare and perform Calibration of Mechanical Ventilators.
Operate and manage different types of ventilator machine.
Arterial Blood Gas extraction and basic interpretation.
Monitor patients ventilation status.
Motivate patients in Proper Breathing Techniques in Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT), Incentive spirometry (IS) and Peak Spirometry and Peak Expiratory Flowrate Measurements
Operate diagnostic equipment such as Arterial Blood Gas Analyzer, Electrocardiography (ECG) Pulmonary test machine.
Treat wide range of patients from infants to elderly.
Explains treatment procedures to patients to gain cooperation and allay fears.

Assist in giving immunization to infants less than year of age.
Assist in the prenatal and delivery of pregnant women as well as post partum care, neonatal care and health.
Conduct patient assessment of Outpatient consultation.
Give Health Teaching to mothers and children.
Administer medications via oral, intramuscular or intravenous routes as ordered by the physician.
Insert IV catheter for patients requiring an IV line under supervision.
