TERTIARY EDUCATION

I attended a year learner ship course at Gearhouse NQF level 4 in live events, specializing in live events, where I gained practical and theoretical experience in stage structures, audio, audio visual, lighting, power, rigging and LED vision.

I enrolled at the Academy of Advance Technology in the beginning of 2009 to complete the N4 & N5 Draughting course and also the Turnkey Project Development Course that is required for 1st year completion. I received a distinction for both Building Architectural and Autocad exam (N5) in 2009. During 2009 we had the opportunity to complete a course in AutoCAD and Inventor. All of my qualified education certificates had been received on the 12th of December 2009. My education at the Academy was combined with: Building Architectural; Structural steel detailing, Mechanical; Electrical; Civil and Piping.

I consider myself as a very good draughtsman who is keen on learning and working hard in witch ever industry I’m in.

WORK EXPERIENCE

From 2014 I became a Senior Structural Detailer at Execudraw and is still employed as a contractor currently. We do Layout design and Structural detailing in all its facets. My experience consist of Plant layout, Structural

& Steel detailing, Plate work & liners, Sheeting, Flooring, Conveyors, Chutes, Bins, Shaft steelwork & Buildings. Doing Fabrication & Erection drawings with Cutting, Order, Dispatch & Bolts list using the latest Bentley Pro Steel Software.

From 01 February 2013 I became fully Employed at Projex Cellular Infrastructure as a Planner, Senior Draughtsman & Wayleave Manager Responsibilities:

Planning and capturing of optic fibre network

Determine infrastructure requirements, conduct site survey, analyse and gather information

Receive and record applications, analyse and validate applications, conduct feasibility Perform detailed dimensioning

Capture information on relevant systems

Compile detailed estimates, engineering specifications, work instructions, labour requirements, material list, executable files and office copies Obtain all relevant documentations (way leaves)

Submit request to other related parties

Forward executable files to construction, liaise with relevant parties involved in the project and provide feedback.

Monitor network utilization, capacity and identify network to be expanded

I was employed at Amitech Industial SA from 1 July 2010 - 31 December 2010. Amitech S-A is a company who specialize in making Custom Fibre Glass products for the mining industry. As the Draughtsman constantly worked with the Engineers in Designing all aspects of the products manufactured doing Layouts. I was in control of all drawings and changed drawings according to customers specifications until Approved For Construction. Along with my work there is many admin involve by keeping drawings updated in registers as they come and go. The reason for leaving the company was because of possible liquidation that did happen early 2011

I Started Working from the 10th of January 2011 at Erasmus Design Technologies on a permanent basis where I’m working as a senior Draughtsman. I specialize in doing survey and designs for any Fibre Optic infrastructure to be built by various different implementation contractors. I was fully in control of all the project management regarding the projects for Dark Fibre Africa.

From 15th February 2010 I started to work for Erasmus Design Technologies on a Freelance basis where I had to do survey’s and planning for Neotel and Vodacom. As a Draughtsman I was responsible for the layouts and building entries to where fibre optic cables was needed to be placed.

While I was studying in 2009 for my NQF 5 Draughting I worked part-time as a waiter at Greensleeves Restaurant in the area of Sterkfontein. 6. GENERAL

I am an energetic extrovert who enjoys the company and interaction of people. My interests includes music, golf and scuba diving (Advanced qualified). I am always willing to learn and improve my skills at any level. 7. REFERENCE:
