Managed within the Accommodation Program’s budget of $500K.

Regularly consulted with CIBC’s Chief Architect, Senior Designer and Corporate Real Estate when new ergonomic devices were being considered as the bank standard.

Recruited and managed student ergonomists.

Developed the business case and project plan for the “Corporate Ergonomics Strategy”, in order to ensure full compliance with legislative changes to the Canada Labour Code.

Reduced wait time for ergonomic assessments from 6 weeks to 48-hour service.

Reduced equipment costs by $50K per annum by negotiating with vendors for superior products at reduced prices and by utilizing CIBC Real Estate for installations. Also worked with Strategic Sourcing to develop Service Level Agreements and fee reductions with ergonomic suppliers.

Rehabilitation Co-ordinator 1997 - 1998

Consultation on the design & formulation of HR policies and procedures for the new abilities-based disability management system, as a member of the “Disability Management Review Committee”.

Authored a comprehensive audit of the disability management system for senior management, which identified systemic barriers to returning to work from STD/LTD - resulted in process improvement and a saving of $6.5-7 million annually from 1999-2003.
