M.B.B.S (University of Jammu), India, Year of completion: 2006.

M.D in community medicine(SKIMS University),India, Year:2012

M.O.H Specialist community medicine in the department of preventive medicine sharjah since September 2014.

Presently working as supervisor for the pilot project on DOTS for TB treatment started in Sharjah medical district.

Past Experience:

A)Worked as Resident Doctor in AHMAD HOSPITAL, Srinagar J&K, India from 01.01.2007 to 30.03.2009 (Two years and three months) as General physician in General and Emergency medicine Department.

B)Worked as Post Graduate Resident in Sheri Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, Srinagar, India, from 29.05.2009 to 28.05.2012 (Three-Years) completing M.D in Community Medicine.

C)Worked as part time General physician at Rotunda Hygeia centre for human reproduction and research, during the same period i.e. 01.06.2009 to 30.05.2012(evening shifts and Sundays).

D)Worked in New city hospital India as resident medical officer in emergency medicine from 01.06.2012 for 18 months.

Has completed Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS)training and basic life support(BLS) training courses duly accredited by American Heart association(AHA).

Has completed Paediatric advanced life support course(PALS) training duly accredited by American Academy of Paediatrics and American Heart Association.

Attended the training course on mental health gap devised by World Health Organisation and Imparted by World Renowed psychiatrists from Royal College of psychiatrists,United Kingdom(RCPSY UK).

Published my research work titled epidemiology of substance abuse among college students in northern india(Kashmir) in international journal of medical sciences and public health 540 International Journal of Medical Science and Public Health 2013 Vol 2 Issue 3(online first).

Has Recently published Research paper on prevalence of Gestational Diabetes in pregnant women and its implication in an international medical journal.

Two more publications one on maternal and child health care utilization and second on Anaemia in pregnant women and its implications have been also published in international journal.

Has been continuously involved with implementation of various national health programmes like:

- Polio surveillance,

- Revised national TB control Programme.

-Maternal and child health Programme.

- Universal immunization Programme.

-Non-Communicable disease prevention and control programmes like Diabetes, Hypertension, Cancer, Obesity etc.

Has attended continued medical educational programmes regularly on Health issues like:

-AIDS, RNTCP, OPHTHOMOLOGICAL CME, SURGICAL UPDATES, W.H.O state level training on Immunization at state level and mental health issues like depression, psychosis, epilepsy etc.
