I wish to secure a challenging new position which allows me to work in an environment dealing with people. I find i very much enjoy interacting with others, I particularly enjoy keeping schedules completing orders and dealing with queiries and generally helping out wherever i can .
I am a self-motivated hard working individual who has good organisational and negotiating skills along with a sense of responsibility and a capacity to work under pressure, either on my own or as part of a team. I feel that i am very much a people person who can relate to a wide range of personalities, I am an outgoing and sociable person and i find that job satisfaction that comes from knowing that i have been of assistance to people is most rewarding.

Having decided not to go down the academic route to third level education I decided to engage in restaurant work I intitally worked as a waitress however I soon progressed to supervisory position and very much enjoyed my time there my duties were as follows
Managing staff - keeping rotas,over seeing restaurant bookings also dealing with any complaints or issues members of public o staff had
Responsible for the smooth running of complete section of restaurant used for function i.e Birthday Parties, Special Occasions etcetera
Till operating & cashing up last thing at night ensuring takings balance and monies were put securely in the nite safe.

Working mainly in Customer services taking customer orders and dealing with returns and complaints, completing the relevant paperwork, duties also included till operation and cashing up
I was soon asked to work in the operational office a a managerial role which meant taking responsibility for sales figures and stock along with keeping staff rotas and dealing with staff issues, however i missed the one to one relationship you get whilst working with the public and after returning to work after the birth of my second child i requested a transfer back to the customer service team .
