Ensure that all safety regulations are being met, enforced and followed by all associates. Communicate all information from the customer to my team of supervisors. (changes in policy, regulation or process.)For them to keep the work force up to date and in compliance. When we were short staffed I would operate the fork lift and clear the dock of loaded racks or provide the freight handlers with empty rack. I was offered a position in the sales department of Texas based company and I took the chance to finally come home.

The reason I left that property was because I got the opportunity to go work overseas and I had to miss a lot of work in order to get the job so I gave my two week notice and left the job.

Juniors Auto Glass and Upholstery (Shop Manager) Present
This is my Fathers business I have worked here since I was 8 years old. I started as an apprentice sweeping the floors, greeting clients, but most of all my job was to translate for my father. With time my responsibilities changed, and eventually I started to manage the shop. We added the auto glass section of the business 5 years ago. I started as a helper for the installer that worked for my dad, then I started working on my own. I’ve been installing glass for the last two years. I learned a lot about customer service as that is the most important quality in a small business. My Fathers business is where I’m at on my days off or whenever I’m not working. This is where I was working during the gaps in my employment history.
US ARMY Sept 2001 – Nov 2007
I was in the Army for 6 Years. I served over seas in two different deployments. I went to Kuwait in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Iraq in support of both Operation's Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. While on both of these deployments I drove 2500 Gallon Hemmit Tankers to different bases or to remote areas where we could safely set up a portable gas station. (F.A.R.P. forward area refueling point) I was also the designated fork lift operator for company.
Skills
I’m fluent in Both Spanish and English. I have a long military history so punctuality and team work come like second nature. I was a Sargent in the Army and a Foreman in Afghanistan. These two experiences have taught me to be patient, responsible, dependable, but most of all to have humility. I’ve only worked in a few different industries throughout my lifetime. The Auto repair industry at my father’s business, The Military, and both Warehouse and Property Management. I’m confident that with my experience and my drive to succeed I can be a great fit for your team.
