• Inspect, checkout and put right electrical wiring receptacle, rigid steel conduits and plastic, fibre-optic cable for communications and signals, coaxial cable assemblies. Electrical devices designed to hold and connect the lamps to power supply and other electrical items.
• Install soft starter control motors controlled by Modicon Programmable Logic Control (PLC)
• Install altivar controls, dust collector and dust suppression controls
• Install, connect, test and maintain electrical system
• Install and maintain electronic controls for machines in the crusher
• Fasten to the wall small metal or plastic boxes that will house electrical switches and outlets.
• Pull insulated wires/cables through conduit to complete circuit between boxes.
• Joint wires in boxes with various special designed connectors

Install shut off solenoids, belt breakage switch horn, battery gauge, hour meter, accumulator gauge; install temperature sender, pressure switch, park brake switch, park brake solenoid, battery master switch and light switches. Replace worn out alternator belt. Install trailing cable of electric cable. Trace up defective motors, tests and repair wiring of lighting systems. Troubleshoot motor control on job site. Conduct general wiring installation of motor controls such as; across the line, reverse/forward, and repair defective locomotive controllers.
Detailed Duties and Responsibilities:
• Examine, understand and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematic diagrams and follow electrical code and its specifications to erect and layout, industrial electrical equipment installations.
• Install and check power unit, control unit of direct current controlled locomotives
• Check, repair and replace brush box holders of direct current locomotives motors
• Install pipe hunger, clumps, insulators, splice bar of trolley line
• Replace worn out contact tips of alternating current locomotive controller.
• Check, test, shorted motor winding of locomotives
• Replace worn out slides shoe
• Check, test, repair or replace moving contact tips and stationary contact tips for reverse and forward direction
• Conduct preventive maintenance service on hoist controls
• Layout and connect cables and wires for lighting fixtures, controls, alarms and man cage signals
• Troubleshoot telephone circuit and wirings
• Install vertical pumps, motor and control
• Troubleshoot motor controls on the job site
• Check, test and replace defective submersible pump
• Assemble, test and install reverse-forward, wye-delta motor controls
• Install and test magnetic contractors, circuit breakers and overload relays for safety and compatibility
• Layout and hookup supply cable for electric motors and electric load haul dump (LHD)
• Troubleshoot (LHD) load haul dump like EJC 60E, 61D, 100D, 130D, MTI, backhoe, LPT, Wagner, ST2D, Jumbo drill single boom
• Troubleshoot hard starting LHD and LPT on the job site
