• FORD MOTOR COMPANY Livonia, Michigan 1990 – 2008 Automatic Transmission New Product Center (A.INPC Position: Experimental Parts Fabrication Specialist Exceptional 17-year career with progressive fabrication responsibilities in all areas of Research, Development, Production and Troubleshooting to produce “make like production” transmission prototypes and power train assemblies for future model cars and trucks.
Accomplishments:
• Consistently selected for special project assignments to resolved sign flaws, consolidate machining operations, fabricate close tolerance fixtures, and accurately complete time-critical jobs.
• Engineered and fabricated a drilling fixture that simplified a difficult case drilling job. This tool diminished the need for highly skilled labor to perform the work and reduced production time for that operation by 30%.
• Designed and produced a gauge inspection tool and master calibration unit allowing for QC inspection to occur in the job process. Reduced production time by 2 hours per unit and eliminated interruption to the Inspection Dept.
