Key Accomplishments:

Designed and executed a Performance Evaluation Management and process automation within a deadline of 90-days. This included the implementation of a Competency-Based program that allowed managers and staff to measure performance against specific departmental goals and objectives. The automation of the process allowed the assessment and analysis of employee performance by running overall metrics. As a result, targeted training was created, consistent assessment of low performer’s next steps and provided better insight on promotions and succession planning

Developed and conducted training for all managers and senior level executives on the Performance Evaluation Management process. This also included technical training on the use of the on-line system

Developed, designed and implemented a Diversity & Inclusion (D & I) and Training Program as part of the organization’s culture change initiative. As a result, 3 Affinity Business minded groups were formed and more diverse related events were held across the organization as first steps

Created and implemented an Employee Relations process to include policy and communication of all employee complaints. The complaint procedure was included in the company’s policies on-line manual. As a result, a more visible and transparent open door policy was created while allowing the organization to be compliant in this area. Our agency reported zero EEO complaints since my tenure in the organization and successfully passed our citywide EEO complaints auditing reports

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for executing a plan of action to conduct a planned layoff of 10% of the employee population. Partnered with management to conduct a detailed workforce analysis to evaluate roles and responsibilities for the entire organization of 400 employees

Co-led all layoff meetings with managers and coached managers on the delivery of the layoff conversations and met with affected employee to review severance agreements

Strategically partnered with about 50 first line managers and senior executives to provide coaching and guidance on making the best decisions and practices on all Employee relations, Succession Planning, Recruiting and Performance Management matters

Co-led the implementation of a new ADP/payroll process to improve the day-to-day HR operations and compliance. This new system allowed us to run meaningful HR metrics, manage on-line benefits and payroll processes in a more effective manner. This new online system provided a platform for employees to manage all day to day inquiries by using an employee self-service portal
