Started professional career from June-2011 through campus recruitment by Hindustan Construction Company Ltd (H.C.C Ltd an ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14000, OHSAS 18001 certified company) is one of the leading and oldest construction & engineering company in India established in 1926.

HCC has built some of the most remarkable transportation projects in India. Constructed 28% of India’s Hydel Power Stations, first sea link, 11 km railway tunnel deep in the mountains connecting Jammu & Kashmir along with construction of 65% of India’s nuclear generation capacity.

Client: KBUNL (Joint venture between BSEB & NTPC).

Project: Construction of two 195 MW Thermal Power Plant,Muzaffarpur, Bihar

Key Responsibilities

Piling and Pile cap :-

Piling work at Main Plant area (Boiler, ESP, TG, Mill Bunker etc .) in a planned way.

Maintained Quality in every respect like bore depth checking, flushing, cage lowering, concreting etc.

Keep daily record of work by Pile ID.

Supervise the concreting of pile cap of Boiler, ESP, Mill Bunker etc including Pedestal bolt fixing and concreting.

Organise regular review meeting with team members.

Major Structure and Different Level Floor Slab :-

Constructed major structure like PA, FD, and ID fan, RWPH raft, Mill Bunker Pedestal, TG Deck slab.

Concreted different level floor slab ( From 0.00m level to +30.00m Level) of ESP,TG and Mill Bunker.

Transformer yard area at different location.

Trestle Footing (more than 200) and Pedestal, rail fixing at rail yard.

Building Work :-

Construction of offsite buildings like Permanent Store Building, FWPH, FOPPH, Canteen Building, Switch Gear Building, Water System Control Room Building.

Concreting of footings, columns, beams at different level, Slab etc. including cable trench.

Brickwork and plaster of buildings.

Construction of 10 numbers of watch tower.

Planning : -

Make monthly and daily (date wise) programme and planned accordingly my work.

Study drawing carefully and make detail and raise material and manpower requirement accordingly.

Discuss daily work progress in morning meeting.

Monitoring and Controlling:-

Regular communication with store department to have an overview of shuttering material, batten, angle section

Controlling day to day work and prepare manpower report.

Proper allocation of manpower for maximum work with minimum fatigue to workmen.

Reconciliation of materials like steel, bricks, shuttering plates and client materials.

Close monitoring of materials like shuttering plate, channel and angle sections etc so as to use the same from other site to minimise extra cost to company.

In touch with contractors so as to get manpower if needed urgently.

Billing:-

Preparing measurement book and pile data sheet for the work and checked by client.

Prepare bar bending schedule (BBS) of all the structure allotted to me in advance and get approval from client so that work run smoothly.

Preparation of Sub-Contractor billing as per contract & Work order for civil work with current rate analysis and workable term & condition.

IMS & ISO certification:-

Have gone through internal and external auditing of IMS plan and ISO team without any non conformity

Implemented IMS plan in the work and Equipment safety procedures.

Safety and Documentation:-

Execute work in safe environment to follow all the safety rule

Toolbox talks and safety inspection sheet on daily basis with workers along with safety officer.

Monthly inspection of all working areas with concerned safety officer and to have no-objection certificate.

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS

Concreted all Boiler and ESP footings and handed over by pedestal checking before time.

Reconcile 748 MT of steel which were sorted and get approval from client.

Got appreciation from NTPC Project Director to my entire team for successfully concreting 900 cum in a record 40 hrs.

Got award in the safety test of officers in 2012, scored highest in the “Concrete Technology Training” held at Mumbai.

Shared score 4 with two engineers in the last “Appraisal Report” highest among all officers in the project.

Graduation : B.Tech (Civil) from NIT Patna in 2011 with score 7.59 (CGPA)

Class 12th : CBSE with 71.4% in 2006 from Millia Convent English School, Purnia

Class 10th : Bihar Board with 57.4% in 2004 from Zila School, Purnia
