Projects: Senior design (2014-2015): As chairman successfully led team to code a NI 3214 programmable node using LabVIEW to effectively detect and monitor strain continuously. Yearlong project designed to replicate the lifecycle of an engineering
project with budgeting, research, prototypes, project management meetings to make
sure milestones are being met and the project is on course to be completed by the
expected date. Resulted in a grade of 100%.
Real Time Operating System (2015): Using an AVR ATMega8515 microcontroller
and STK500 programmers board was able to create a RTOS using C code to
demonstrate task switching. Code included: functions, semaphores, events, context
switches, and schedulers.
Deploying Epic Cloud based software platform at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Building and constructing, staging, and deploying VX thin client machines to replace
the existing PC’s currently used at MD Anderson. Remotely configuring printers,
mapping printers to the network. The campus wide project allows
doctors and nurses to take their work with them to any computer on the campus.
