1.Expansions: SNAP, POP & CRACKLE (Apr 2015 – till now)

This project is response to a request from Apple for analysis, design, construction and implementation of Snap Expansion requirements. This project is being undertaken to enable Snap employees of Apple to use Merlin & WFM systems. The scope of the project includes enhancing Merlin, Merlin ADP, WFM, Kronos & CICO in house applications for Snap Business Unit employees and leaving the rest of the Business Units as they are today. Development required for interfaces between Merlin, ADP and other required applications to import/export person information to place the employees under appropriate pay groups in WFM, Kronos system. Payroll files will be generated from Merlin for Snap employees and sent to ADP payroll system. Also receiving the processed payroll files related data from ADP and loading onto Merlin system so that the Apple Snap employees can see their pay slips in Merlin. Also to enable overtime calculations for all the part/full time Slingshot employees in WFM, Kronos system so that the same can be paid easily after the data being sent to ADP.

This project involves in the HR Application for Apple. This is an expansion for Apple’s Merlin Application. Previously, there was no OTA/OTB and Premium OTA/OTB calculation for Italy country. In this project, OTA/OTB and premium calculation has been implemented who belongs to Italy country in the system. New report is added in the system and this report will be captured OTA/OTB and premium hours for all the employees and sent to their group mail.

4.Getting started (HR mail automation). (Nov 2010 – Dec 2010)

This project involves in the HR Application for Apple. This is an enhancement for Apple’s Merlin Application. Business requirement is when employee newly hired/Re-hired, Country change, Promotion/Demotion and Terminated then the system has to send a notification mail to their Manager, HR and to the employee during certain period, before the effective date. This Business has been made and created the automated mail process for HR department of Apple Inc. and implemented the same in the system.

5.China Retail Expansion - (Aug 2010 – Dec 2010)

HK Retail BG have been added to Merlin HR system from the scratch like adding employees in the system, setting up Business Group, Leave management for all employees, setting up all the rules for different shifts in Time and Attendance.
