Corporate accountability for Safety Health, Risk Management, Workers Compensation, in a company with ~$1.2 BB sales and approximately ~5,000 employees in multiple subsidiaries and locations throughout the world.

Direct accountabilities consist of 11 employees, total staffing of 21employees, $4.2MM budget, salaried compensation

Designed and directed programs to reduce incidents, occupational illnesses and exposure to long-term health hazards through various mediums, including, but not limited to: safety and skill training of company employees, emergency preparedness, proper job instruction, planned inspections and job observations, job analysis/procedures, new employee indoctrination, physical protection, and personal protective equipment.

Led and directed safety culture that influenced improvements in the Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) from a worldwide 3.45 to a 2.26 for a 35% reduction. Reduced Lost Time Recordable Rate (LTIR) from a 1.16 to a .52 for a 55% reduction. Reduced Days Away Restricted Transfer (DART) from 1.93 to 1.47 for a 24% reduction. This contributed to improved employee morale, reduced workers compensation costs (est. $1MM), Experience Modification Rate (EMR) 0.69 retention and new business.

Implemented a safety management system that tracked all incidents to determine corrective and preventive actions resulting in statistical data to identify lagging and leading indicators
