I was promoted from outreach officer where I used to supervise outreach incentive staffs in one camp to early rehabilitation officer where I supervise early rehabilitation activities across three camps.
Duties performed
-Support formation of psychosocial groups of parents.
-Carrying out appropriate and timely assessments of gross and fine motor skills, preschool as well as cognitive skills of children with disabilities.
-Carrying out rapid assessments for sensitization across the three camps on multiple impairment issues.
-Coordinate the recruitment and development of job descriptions of new early rehabilitation incentive workers.
-Ensuring appropriate and timely planning, monitoring and reporting of activities related to day care.
-Coordinating the recruitment and development of job descriptions of new early rehabilitation incentive workers.
-Choosing on appropriate equipment and material for early rehabilitation and preparing procurement of equipment, tools and stimulation toys according to the budget available.
-Ensuring standard operating procedures including weekly planner, practical guide on procedures for daily running of day care center are available in the center.
