Chicago Public Schools– Project Manager responsible for performing the Strategic Sourcing Initiative to identify cost savings across thousands of good purchased by 500 locations with a Budget of 100 Million. After year 1 of project implementation, the district realized 23% in annual savings and expanded the project to include services and yielded a total cost savings of 45% in annual savings. The project tasks utilized value streaming and Six-Sigma tools throughout the lifecycle of the project. As the project manager, my role consisted of working with procurement managers, buyers, and sellers to achieve maximum results.
