Coordinate 4000 plus employees who have elected to further their education through the company’s educational program. Responsible for recruiting, retention programs, marketing and promoting for the Kansas District. Accountable for the overall staffing of multiple departments UPS has in the Kansas District. Manage the direction of human resource functions. Direct a staff of training professionals and work with the largest Union in the country (Teamsters). Disability, Workers Compensation, FMLA administration. Report to Human Resource District Manager.

Achievements:

Developed and executed a strategic human resource plan to navigate organizational change.

Developed and implemented employee relations philosophy, policies and programs to support a unique culture based upon mutual trust and employee involvement.

Developed referral program as an incentive program for an estimated savings of $40,000 annually.

Formally one of the largest provider of student transportation services through out the country.

Contract Manager

Developed a budget for a 10 million dollar contract for the Kansas City MO School District. Supervised multiple departments inclusive of safety, training, and human resources. Started the human resources department where very little had existed and demonstrated success in establishing and managing all human resources disciplines. Reported to Regional Manager.

Achievements:

Kept workers compensation and safety within acceptable company guidelines by implementing strong retention programs and rewards for having no accidents, with equipment or people.

Retrieved all monies by year in by balancing account receivables and payables for a total gain of approximately $50,000 in one year. This allowed all staff employees to receive payroll bonuses each for the year, which increased moral substantially.

Created cooperate policies and managed training and orientation for all employees. Staffed location
