As the Director of Quality and Training I led the global quality and training teams OCTG, Drill Pipe, Mobile Inspection, and Manufacturing divisions. Wrote and maintained the companies Quality Management System and Obtaining API Q1 certification. Also supervised and maintained many industry licenses which include API 5CT, VAM, Tenaris, US Steel, and many more.
Strategy and planning using evidence-based approach, worked with relevant business development staff and operational leaders designing innovative, but practical and fiscally responsible strategies for inclusion in relevant business development documents and for use in the successful implementation and conduct of trial programs for clients.
Developed management training program, new hire procedures including employee selection tests. Implementation of these programs increased employee retention and contributed to the TRIR dropping from 3.85 to 0.73 within one year.
Management of 6 global divisions included inspection, threading, fabrication, and audit training for both facility and mobile location training. Inspection included oversite of SEA, EMI, VT, MT, PT, and UT processes. Training resulted in better a trained workforce and a reduction in site locations by more than 30%.
