Responsible for directing the people functions of 143 bed Healthcare System. Evaluate and advise Board Members and senior leadership on the impact of long range planning of new programs/strategies. Develop progressive compensation and benefits programs to remain competitive within local labor market. Maintain positive HR budget, and produce analytics of HR effectiveness. Oversight of Workers Comp, employee wellness, and employee safety program. Work collaboratively with Education Department to develop employee training programs to include Orientation and annual competencies.
Accomplishments: Active role in the acquisition and merger process with Duke LifePoint. This was a two (2) year project that encompassed strategic planning and execution of all business lines, onboarding and transitioning of 1100 employees/volunteers and financial strengthening of organization.
